Swedish companies in Indonesia driving the sustainability transition

Guided by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the Sweden-Indonesia Sustainability Partnership aims at strengthening the partnership between Indonesian and Swedish stakeholders in line with the 2030 Agenda.

Sweden is leading the global transition to innovative and sustainable solutions and can play a key role in Indonesia’s ambitions to achieve the goals of the 2030 Agenda, become the regional hub for the manufacturing industry and become a high-income country. These ambitious targets, in line with President Jokowis reform agenda, create significant opportunities for Swedish companies across the value chain.

Through SISP as a platform, our both countries have created an excellent vehicle to advance and intensify cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

SISP was made to build a more sustainable world together. To meet the ambitious targets of the SDGs, Sweden and Indonesia have fostered 10 points for future collaboration which are solidified by cooperative agreements at the government level. An annual SISP week takes place where high-level stakeholders dive into the progress and points of improvement for a selection of these 10 points.
